Mark your calendars for April 18, 2008, because Operation Adaptation put together an amazing concert with a fresh music lineup and green alternatives. This two day camping and music festival will be revolutionary.
The Concord House in Sullivan, WI, is the perfect spot to kick off the festival season. Musicians like Willy Porter and Chinese Fingertrap will revitalize the crowd. Other groups that will be there are:
Fat Maw Rooney- Stealin' Strings
- Groovation
- Family Groove Company and many more
'Power by the People' created a stage that is run solely on eight stationary bicycles. You can even contribute if you chose to ride or just sit back and enjoy the acoustic melodies.
The festival is organic, especially because there will be no plastic or styrofoam plates lingering around. We will be using corn-based material instead. Another perk is that for every ticket sold Trees for the Future will plant a tree. There will be plenty of opportunities for everyone to give back to the less privileged. A food drive will be in action to help the Hunger Task Force of Milwaukee and the $5 camping and parking fee is donated to Jam for Jamaica.
This festival is jammed pack with great musical talents, unique ideas that promote a healthy earth, and donations to help the less privileged. Operation Adaptation is just the ticket to get everyone in the mood to celebrate a green earth.
